We created a quiet escape with this west coast cabin plan for a Vancouver couple who wanted a place to get away from the city on weekends.
On a small, well treed, private lot on Pender Island, this west coast cabin provides a cozy retreat. A small footprint with the main living below and a loft bedroom above provide ample room as a weekend getaway or even as a cozy full-time home for two. This is a very simple and cost affective plan that still has nice aesthetic appeal. Just a little Galvalume corrugated metal to contrast with the more traditional board and batten wood siding give this west coast cabin design a contemporary update.
